6 Days in Krabi: Custom Trip.
Matt’s Krabi Itinerary
14–19 February: An island escape combining nature, gentle morning activities, and plenty of time to relax.
Krabi is very accessible and easy to get around. Bolt and Grab are widely available, as well as songtaews and tuk-tuks, making transport simple whether you’re staying near the beach or in town.
Accommodation Options & Areas
In terms of accessibility and atmosphere, I’d suggest considering one of the following areas:
Ao Nang (North End)
Where we stayed (around a 20-minute walk north of Ao Nang Beach) which was much quieter than the main strip and had views of the limestone cliffs
Many hotels offer free shuttle transfers to and from Ao Nang Beach, making it easy to catch longtail boats
Khlong Mueng Beach / Relax Beach
Quieter beaches west of Ao Nang with fewer crowds, more relaxed vibe
Still well connected for transport
Krabi Town (Recommended: 2 Nights)
We only stopped briefly for coffee, but it had a peaceful, Old Town Bangkok feel
Great for local food, markets, and cultural spots
Ideal for slowing the pace toward the end of the trip
Once you’ve decided on budget and preferred areas, I’m happy to suggest specific accommodation options.
